  15. Jerry Barnes 444 Trans Co @ Qui Nhon 10 mos.I ran convoys(1st LT) from Qui Nhon to Pleiku and back. They were convoys of up to 60 trucks with gun trucks for security in between each serial of trucks. The gun trucks would have m-60's, .50 cal or mini-guns for security. The gun jeeps were armor plated also and had machine guns. There was an article in Vietnam mag(Oct issue I think of 96) about the gun trucks.

This is for my father,mike,who is currently attempting to get his back VA pay, but is in need of crucial information involving the following things: anyone who was in the 20th eng. brigade, 159th group, 169th engineer battilion, 43rd eng. company DT with a base camp in a place called Long Bihn. Details on a battle at Xuan Loc that involved 4 heavily armed aircraft called the red baron, the yosemite sam, snoopy and puff the magic dragon. We believe that the red baron was shot down during this battle. Dates for this battle are needed badly,also any daily combat journals from Feb.1968 to march 1970.My dad was known as "doc". Any info or possible contacts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your time.

I was wounded at Hoc Mon on Feb 6, 68. I was shot through the neck while we were fighting in the Cemetary east of the temple at Hoc Mon. I went back to Vietnam in March of 95, and made a visit to the Temple at Hoc Mon, and found the cetemary where I was wounded. If your kids go to a school which has Channel One, then they saw the show that was made about the trip. After leaving the Wolfhounds in March of 68, I spent the next 9 months with the Lightning Replacement Training Center, in Cu Chi.

  90. Jack L. Carrow Co. 588th Engineer Bn, 20th Engineer Brigade Tay nang (I don't think I spelled right) 1967 to 1968. I was a combat Medic. We were based at the Black Virgn Mountain. I would like to hear from Larry Short who also was a Medic and anyone else who may remember me. I found Kenneth Fulton's wife and mother. Kenny was killed in Vietnam. It has taken a long time to heal and now I think I am ready to talk.

  96. Lewis S. O'Neal Co. D, 1st Medical Battalion, 1st Infantry Division, Phouc Vinh. 1967. I was a medic in Vietnam, in a medical company for the Ist Medical Battalion, 1st Infantry Division where we were pulled for combat missions. I was there the whole year of 1967.

  97. Miriam Knight (sis to Robert O. Hill Jr) 237th Medical Detachment, 67th Medical Corps. Quang Tri. 1969-70. I am the youngest sister of CWO Robert O. Hill Jr, and my brother and sister and I are searching for anyone who may have known and/or loved our brother. He was killed in a helicopter crash on Sept. 27th, 1970 while out on a rescue mission for one of his good buddies that went down. I would to hear from the guys that I was with at DaNang and Phu Cat. One thing I would like to share is pictures of Danang getting hit in my of 68.
